Second album for San Francisco, California, psychedelic country rockers originally recorded released in the spring of 1972. It is the first album featuring Buddy Cage as New Riders member who had replaced The Grateful Dead‘s Jerry Garcia. The album contains six original tunes plus some covers such as Ricky Nelson‘s “Hello Mary Lou”. Guest appearances were delivered by Nicky Hopkins, U.K.’s most wanted session pianist (Stones, Kinks, Who, Beatles, Move, Donovan a.o.) and on banjo The Dead‘s Jerry Garcia and Billy Kreatzmann (percussion). It was the band’s highest charting album, reaching number 33 on the Billboard 200.
