Jazz Fusion group “Return To Forever” was founded and led in the early seventies by pianist Chick Corea with as only consistent bandmate bassist Stanley Clarke. Like their debut “Light As A Feather” this album also contains vocals. The vocals are for Stanley Clarke and Corea‘s wife the keyboardist Gayle Moran (ex Mahavishnu Orchestra). Former band member saxophonist Joe Farrell also returns along with several new members making up a killer five-piece horn section. Musicmagic is the seventh and final studio album for “Return To Forever” originally released in 1977. Musicmagic is considered to be one of the best jazz recordings in the fusion genre.
