Description
Hooverphonic is a Belgian band earlier categorized as a trip hop group, whose sound quickly expanded to the point where they could no longer be described as a lone genre, but rather encompass alternative, electronica, electropop, rock and mixture of others. ‘No More Sweet Music’ is the group’s fifth studio album. The first disc is titled ‘More Sweet Music’ and contains 11 songs performed in the familiar Hooverphonic style, whilst the second disc ‘No More Sweet Music’ contains the very same 11 songs in their remixed versions by the band’s bassist and programmer Alex Callier. The singles released from this album are “You Hurt Me”, “Wake Up”, “Dirty Lenses” and “We All Float”.
