“Godzilla” is probably the best known of these tracks, a 79 minutes compilation from the from the Long Island hard-rockers. Other songs that gave the band a real Cult status with selling over 24 million records were the singles “(Don’t Fear) The Reaper”, “Burnin’ for You” and “Cities On Flame With Rock And Roll”. The lesser known singles are all of pretty good quality, especially “Goin’ Through The Motions”, “Moon Crazy” and “Shooting Shark”, and there are a couple interesting covers, Steppenwolf’s “Born To Be Wild” and the Animals’ “We Gotta Get Out Of This Place”. The back catalog and this singles overview of the legendary Blue Öyster Cult are loaded with killer cuts.
