High Water was written and produced by Kim Wilson‘s collaboration with Steve Jordan and Danny Kortchmar. These 3 gentlemen from Fabulous Thunderbirds are the only ones performing on this album. With Jordan on drums, Wilson‘s harmonica play and less sneering guitar sounds on tracks like ‘Too much of everything’ and ‘Torture’ gave ‘High Water’ a different direction than previous Thunderbrids releases. High Water is an album that leaves you wanting more.
