Description
Formed in Los Angeles in 1967 by former members of James Gang, Bluesberry Jam and Canned Heat, the blues-rock band the Pacific Gas and Electric Blues Band shortened their name to Pacific Gas & Electric during a disappointing period at Kent Records. PG&E‘s first album under Columbia, the self-titled “Pacific Gas & Electric”, was released in 1969. This album contains two covers: John Lee Hooker‘s “She Long And She’s Tall” and Joe South‘s “Redneck”.
