Nite Flights was the sixth and last album for the in Los Angeles, California founded trio and was recorded in London in 1978. The Walker Brothers, best known from there number 1 hit singles “Make It Easy On Yourself” and “The Sun Ain’t Gonna Shine Anymore” were most popular in the late sixties in Europe, more than in their homeland America. It was in the same time that they all started to record solo albums. Nite Flights contains Scott Walker’s first original material since his 1970 solo album “Til the band comes in”. The album contains one single called “The Electrician”. Midge Ure claimed that The Electrician”  inspired him to write Ultravox’s “Vienna”.
