“No Regrets” was released in 1975 as The Walker Brothers‘ 4th album, 7 years after they released “Images” as a band. The title track “No Regrets” became their signature single as it reached #7 in the UK Singles Chart. This album is different from previous works, leaning more towards Country but nevertheless it made The Walker Brothers’ come back a fact. There’s a solid and pleasant balance in the vocals, lyrics and melody; a result of a firm brotherhood of friends. From the pure and honest title-track to the Curtis Mayfield cover “He’ll Break Your Heart” to finishing off with the emotional “Burn Our Bridges”; The Walker Brothers made their return in the music business evident with this album, a true classic with tracks covered by many (e.g. Emmylou Harris, Janis Ian).
