Description
De Trockener Kecks were a Dutch rock group founded in the early eighties in Amsterdam as a punk band. As post-punkers they became more and more a rock-pop group singing in Dutch. Fronted by Rick de Leeuw they were especially famous for their energetic live performances. In 1991 they even played the main stage on the Dutch famous Pinkpop festival. The “Kecks” disbanded in 2001 after twenty years with an extended farewell tour playing the Dutch and Belgian venues for the last time. “Met Hart En Ziel”, the title song of their sixth album, was their biggest hit in the Dutch charts.
