Description
Bozz Scaggs released his album “Other Roads” in 1988 with the lead single “Heart Of Mine” reaching #3 in US Adult Contemporary chart. Produced by Stewart Levine (who also produced Joe Cocker & Jennifer Warnes‘ “Up where we belong” and Simply Red‘s “Holding back the years”), the second solid radio hit single “Cool Running” confirmed Scaggs‘ successful comeback. Even though times had changed in the music industry, Scaggs knew how to stay true to his own style though with added modern elements. Fans embraced his new found sound with more electronic instruments and a polished finish. The collaborations on this album work excellently, with appearances made by a.o. Steve Lukather, Markus Miller, Jeff Porcaro and Bobby Cadwell.
