Third studio album for the American guitarist, songwriter, husband of Susan Tedeschi and Allman Brothers (family) member since 1999. At the age of thirteen he played alongside Buddy Guy and before his 20th birthday he had shared the stage with the likes of Joe Walsh, Bob Dylan and Stephen Stills. Joyful Noise features an eclectic mix, ranging from gospel, jazz fusion and Latin to East Indian music. Special guests on the album includes Susan Tedeschi, Rahat Fateh Ali Khan (nephew of Nusrat), Ruben Blades and Solomon Burke.
