Description

The hottest band from Austin, Texas in the period 1985-1991 with Kim Wilson on harp/lead vocals, Fran Christina on the drums, Preston Hubbard bass and on the lead guitar Jimmie Vaughan (who left the band after his younger brother Stevie died in a helicopter crash). Except for one track, “Twist Of The Knife”, which is played by his successor Duke Robillard. The album contains 2 previous unreleased tracks, Slim Harpo’s “Got Love If You Want It” and Willie Dixon‘s “You Can’t Judge A Book By Its Cover”. Half of the tracks were produced by Dave Edmunds. The compilation “Hot Stuff” covers The Fabulous Thunderbirds‘ peak of their popularity.
