Stingray is studio album #6 for Joe Cocker, released in 1976, and features among others Eric Clapton, Eric Gale and Peter Tosh. As always, Joe Cocker sounds as strong and tender as ever. Stingray sound a little more R&B than Rock’n’Roll, completing Cocker‘s already diverse repertoire. The urgency oozes on this album which is regarded by fans as one of his best if not THE BEST album he’s made thus far. Including astonishing covers like Bob Dylan‘s The Man in Me and Catfish.
