Loggins and Messina is an American rock-pop duo consisting of Kenny Loggins and Jim Messina who achieved their success in the early to mid-1970s. “Native Sons” is the sixth and final studio album by the singer/songwriter duo. After a final concert in Hawaii, the duo quietly went their separate ways.”Native Sons” was by far the best and most consistent studio album released by Loggins and Messina. For some reason, not one of the songs from this album was included on either “Best of” compilations. Native Sons was an overlooked gem.
