Mezcal Head is the second album released by alternative rockers “Swervedriver” in 1993 and was re-issued as a remastered version in 2008 added with 4 bonus tracks. The album includes their most successful single “Duel” which became “NME’s single of the week”. The tracks “Duel” and “Last Train To Satansville” were featured in the Sony PlayStation game “Road Rash” and “Duel” was also featured in the video game “Burnout Paradise”. In the U.K. Swervedriver albums appear more and more in several rankings often accompanied with quotes like “the ideal music to drive by”. With the highest rankins for “Mezcal Head” this is the band’s best album so far.
