Description
The 1966 debut album from one of the most over-looked American bands of the ’60s now includes 10 bonus tracks! It’s a band with a real “Rolling Stones” vibe and probably the best rock band you never heard of. The Remains were formed in 1964 at Boston University. The band became a popular live act throughout New England and appeared on the CBS TV Program, The Ed Sullivan Christmas Show of 1965. Although the Remains never achieved national success, they were very popular in New England, and were one of the opening acts on The Beatles‘ final US tour in 1966. The last release from the Remains (1966) was the soulful, hard-rocking single “Don’t Look Back”, which was covered by Robert Plant in 1990.
