‘Mane Attraction’ is the fourth album from the New York City hard-rockers. “Lights & Thunder” opens with an over 8+ minutes long and beautiful instrumental section from guitarist Vito Bratta followed by “Broken Heart”, a re-recorded track from their 1985 classic debut ‘Fight To Survive’. “Warsong” is another ‘heavy’-one inspired by the Gulf War with dark lyrics from lead-vocalist Mike Tramp, the sharp guitar solos from Vito Bratta and the fat bass lines from James Lomenzo. “Till Death Do Us Part” and “You’re All I Need” are the power ballads on the record. ”Blue Monday” is White Lion’s only instrumental track ever and is a tribute to Stevie Ray Vaughan who had died while the band was writing for the album.
