Description
White Trash, Edgar Winter’s second album, brings a mix of Texas grit and rock ‘n roll with funk & gospel (even with choir!!!). The track “Keep Playin’ That Rock and Roll” ended up in the Billboard Top 100. The band with horns, strings and vocalists contained over 20 members in total who were conducted by the famous bandleader and conga player Ray Barretto. They kick all different genres into a unique soulful groove, not heard before in the early seventies and the album was produced by Rick Derringer (also vocals & guitar) and featured his brother Johnny Winter on guitar and vocals.
