With the release of their debut album “Vivid” the New York based metal funkers Corey Glover, Vernon Reid, Muzz Skillings & Will Calhoun aka Living Colour delivered one of the most popular albums of 1988. It was certified double platinum in the U.S. by the RIAA. Live at the CBGB’s was the homecoming concert in New York after their worldwide “Vivid” tour. The album includes “Soldier’s Blues”, “Little Lies” and a cover of the Bad Brains classic “Sailin’ On” (not available on any other Living Colour album). In 1989 Living Colour were on top of the world with their debut album and of course their explosive live reputation.
