Description

The Hooters are an American rock band from Philadelphia lead by the singer-songwriters Eric Bazilian and Rob Hyman. In 1985 they opened the ‘Live Aid’ concert in Philadelphia and in 1990 they played at ‘The Wall Concert’ in Berlin. With their 1993 album “Out Of The Body”, their fifth, The Hooters found a large audience in Europe. It was their first album as a six-piece band after the addition of violinist/singer and multi-instrumentalist Mindy Jostyn. The biggest hit for the group from the album was ‘Boys Will Be Boys’ sung by Cyndi Lauper. One of the songs on the album, ’Private Emotion’, would become an international hit single for Ricky Martin in 2000.
