An awesome solo effort from ‘Hole‘ front woman Courtney Love. If you liked “Live Through This” you’ll like “America’s Sweetheart”, raw music/vocals with a good beat. There are a few punk styled tracks, but overall this album is grunge flavored with a splash of punk. This album rocks! It comes out swinging with ’Mono’, which has some of the best lyrics Love has ever written, and throughout the album keeps a rather fast tempo. A few highlights include the ‘Smells Like Teen Spirit’ opening riff and the ‘Zeppelin Song’.
