Released in 1991, Bad English’ 2nd album includes “Time Stood Still” and “Straight To Your Heart”. John Waite is vocally exceptionally strong and the whole band sounds very well balanced and “together”, obviously enjoying playing these tracks. Unfortunately “Backlash” would be the last album they produced together, with indifferences in musical direction resulting in the end of the band in that same year of release. Nevertheless the album is rightfully regarded a classic rock album.
